The author of the Nike legend, Phil Knight, used to be a middle-distance runner in the University team in Oregon. Nowadays Knight is on the 6th place in the list of the wealthiest people in the USA. He founded the "Nike" company together with his coach Bill Bowerman. "Nike" made its roots in Eugene (Oregon) and it is now one of the biggest companies in the world. "If you have a body, you are an athlete"- this phrase was said by Bowerman but it still reflects the underlying principles of the "Nike" company – the use of sports language, a universal vocabulary of passion for competition and victory, while communicating with a consumer. 33 years passed since "Nike" started its activities in the sport industry. Through years and events the company carries on the tradition of giving the best for trainings to those who strive for sporting victories.
